Barista/Cashier/Server

Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position requires strong time management skills, attention to food safety, and proficiency with POS systems. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth daily operations Follow health and safety guidelines related to food service Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems but interested in learning Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Basic skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or holidays if needed This role offers an engaging work environment where team members are valued for their dedication and enthusiasm.
