Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean and inviting café atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for coffee and food service will help create memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining efficient operations. Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Process retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments with accuracy Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and sanitation standards Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring excellent customer service Assist in food preparation tasks to support quality standards and food safety regulations Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active communication abilities Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities seamlessly Join us at The Stockpot where your passion for coffee and dedication to service will shine!
