Job description: Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Early Morning Shift Associate in Garrisonville, starting bright and early at 4:30 AM! As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing beverages, handling retail transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring our café operations run smoothly from the moment we open. Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area, including food prep stations, beverage equipment, and customer seating areas. Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience. Follow food safety protocols during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure compliance with health standards. Support food industry standards by managing food preparation tasks and ensuring timely service during the early morning rush. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred, especially with barista or beverage service roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with coffee preparation or beverage service will be considered an asset.
