As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food safety will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Square POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous barista experience required. 18 and over is required Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills required Required to work a Saturday and Sunday shift. Strong sales skills to promote menu items and drive revenue. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability. Passion for the food industry and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
