Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Barista/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious non-alcoholic beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and manage retail sales transactions seamlessly. You'll be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness throughout your shift. Whether you're preparing specialty coffee drinks or processing cash and card payments, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us serve every guest with excellence. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments while maintaining precise cash handling procedures Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverages to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service with café experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in fast-paced settings.
