Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Part Time Afternoon and Weekend Barista, where your energy and passion for coffee will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain a welcoming coffee shop environment during busy afternoon and weekend shifts. Your enthusiasm will help foster a lively atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more! This position offers a mostly set schedule that does include both Saturday and Sundays. Duties Prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistancy standards are met. Operate POS systems such as DRIPOS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent service from order taking to beverage delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the shop both inside and outside, including food handling stations, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures with attention to detail. Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service. Assist in maintaining a tidy workspace by cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly to ensure a hygienic environment. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with drive thru coffee operations is a plus, but not necissary. Knowledge of POS systems is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and energetically. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Ability to stand for extended periods during busy shifts and perform light cleaning duties. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in beverage preparation, coffee industry knowledge, or retail sales transactions is advantageous. Pay:
$17.13 - $29.00 per hour
