Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly to provide outstanding customer service and answer their beverage or food inquiries Operate Square POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while managing cash handling responsibilities Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items in accordance with food safety guidelines Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage service is a plus Knowledge of POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties regularly Understanding of food safety protocols, proper food handling techniques, and general cleanliness standards in a café environment Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Experience with beverage preparation, coffee experience, or café experience is desirable but not mandatory Join us as a Barista and be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable moments through exceptional service!
