You'll develop drinks, write exact recipes, photograph finished products and create promotional signs. You'll work alongside our baristas and management while helping expand our beverage and food program. We have established recipes and fine-tuned processes. You'll learn and follow those standards while developing approved new offerings. This position also includes making drinks, serving customers, cashiering, stocking and cleaning. Ideal Candidate Requirements 18 years or older. At least three years of barista or specialty-beverage experience , including espresso preparation. Demonstrated experience developing drinks and documenting recipes that other employees can reproduce. Experience photographing products and creating promotional signs or menu materials. Strong attention to flavor, measurements, quality and presentation. Ability to collaborate, accept feedback and follow through from idea to launch. Boba experience preferred. Flexible availability, including nights and weekends. Submit to and clear a pre-employment criminal background check. Responsibilities Make quality espresso, coffee, boba and specialty drinks. Regularly develop and test new drink ideas with the team. Follow beverage and flavor trends and develop seasonal offerings. Obtain management approval before introducing products or changing recipes and procedures. Document exact ingredients, measurements, preparation steps and presentation for approved products. Photograph finished drinks for menus and promotions. Create clear, attractive promotional signs. Plan and communicate approved product launches with management. Work with the Barista Training Supervisor to teach new recipes and ensure consistent preparation. Help develop food items that fit our drive-thru operation. Operate the cash register and assist customers. Rotate and stock tobacco products and cooler inventory. Clean workstations, equipment and bathrooms. Sweep the parking lot, empty garbage and take out recycling. Follow established policies, procedures and applicable regulations. Success in the First Few Weeks Learn our established menu, consistently make quality drinks and begin testing new ideas. Help launch approved drinks with exact recipes, appealing photos, promotional signs and clear preparation instructions. Establish a regular flow of new ideas and completed work. Read The Customer Rules by Lee Cockerell and apply its principles when working with customers and coworkers. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for more than four hours. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
