Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and ingredients swiftly to meet customer demand. Maintain a clean and organized bar area by regularly cleaning surfaces, tools, and equipment in compliance with food service bar safety regulations. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to keep the venue tidy and inviting. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, stock movement, and equipment setup with proper safety precautions. Support food handling and preparation when necessary, including basic food service tasks aligned with health standards. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and transaction accuracy. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods. Uphold all food industry safety protocols, including alcohol service regulations and venue beverage service standards. Assist in venue setup for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish. Experience Previous experience working in bars, restaurants, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food service bar safety compliance, food handling procedures, and beverage preparation techniques. Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management. Knowledge of cleaning protocols related to bar cleaning, kitchen hygiene, and venue sanitation practices. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely. Prior experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential!
