Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to promote sales and customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquets to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Contribute to a lively atmosphere by understanding nightclub or event-specific dynamics if applicable. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, casual restaurants, nightclubs, or catering environments. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively. Experience managing bar operations or bar management responsibilities is preferred. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during busy shifts. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and food safety procedures. Previous experience working in hospitality industry settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly desirable.
