This onsite role blends daytime cocktail service (mimosas, Bloody Marys, brunch cocktails) with excellent guest interaction, efficient bar operations, and collaboration with front-of-house and kitchen teams. You'll work peak morning and early afternoon shifts, craft drinks to our quality standards, and help create the warm, consistent experience our neighborhoods expect. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately, following recipes and presentation standards. Provide friendly, attentive guest service — take drink orders, suggest menu pairings, and handle guest questions or concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar; prepare garnishes, ice, and supplies for service. Operate the POS and process payments, manage tabs, and perform accurate cash handling and closing procedures. Check IDs and enforce responsible alcohol service and local compliance requirements at all times. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and quality of orders during busy brunch shifts. Participate in opening and closing duties, inventory counts, and basic restocking and deliveries as needed. Requirements Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years' bartending experience in a high-volume or fast-paced casual dining environment. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and brunch beverage trends; comfortable making batch and single-serve drinks. Excellent guest service, communication, and multitasking skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays; flexible part-time availability that covers peak brunch hours. Legally authorized to serve alcohol and able to present required local certification if applicable. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. Preferred Qualifications Experience with POS systems commonly used in quick-service and casual dining environments. Knowledge of espresso and specialty coffee service or willingness to cross-train. Previous experience in breakfast/brunch service or daytime-focused beverage programs. Mixology training, wine knowledge, or sommelier coursework. Bilingual skills (Spanish helpful) and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
