Bartender for events Vybe Chandler, AZ Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Bar cleaning Interpersonal skills Customer service Hospitality industry experience Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Bartender - Private Events Vybe Event Center | Chandler, AZ | Part-Time / Event-Based Vybe Event Center is looking for experienced, professional, hospitality-driven bartenders to join our event team. We host everything from intimate celebrations and corporate events to weddings, milestone birthdays and full-venue events with hundreds of guests. Our bars change from event to event—beer and wine, bar packages, open bars, signature cocktails and customized experiences. We're looking for bartenders who can adapt, take ownership of their bar and deliver exceptional service every time. What You'll Do Set up, stock, operate and break down your assigned bar Prepare beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and event-specific signature drinks Provide fast, friendly and professional service Operate our POS and accurately process transactions when required Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked bar Follow Vybe recipes, bar packages and event-specific instructions Monitor responsible alcohol service and appropriately refuse service when necessary Communicate with event management and ask for help before problems escalate Work as part of the larger event team and assist teammates when needed Who We're Looking For You should be: An experienced bartender with solid cocktail knowledge Comfortable with both intimate events and high-volume service Organized, dependable and professional Confident working independently while still being a strong team player Guest-focused and able to interact professionally with many personalities Comfortable being coached and following established procedures Available for meaningful evening and weekend work Craft cocktail experience is strongly preferred , particularly experience with fresh ingredients, specialty cocktails and consistent recipe execution, but it is not required. Requirements 21+ Previous bartending experience required Arizona Title 4 certification or ability to obtain it before training Arizona Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one Reliable transportation Evening and weekend availability Ability to remain active throughout long events and work around crowds and loud music Schedule This is a part-time, event-based/on-call position , not a guaranteed full-time schedule. Hours vary based on our event calendar. Schedules are generally published 2-3 weeks in advance through 7Shifts. You do not need to be available every weekend, but meaningful evening and weekend availability is required. Training & Compensation All bartenders complete paid Vybe-specific training before working independently, including bar setup and breakdown, POS, cocktail standards, bar packages, alcohol-service policies and guest-service expectations. Compensation is discussed during the interview process. Eligible tips and gratuities are pooled and distributed according to Vybe's established practices. The Vybe Standard Being good behind the bar isn't enough. We're looking for people the rest of the team can trust—people who show up prepared, follow procedures, communicate, help their teammates, take responsibility and genuinely care about the guest experience. If you're an experienced bartender who takes pride in your craft and wants flexible event work with a team that holds itself to a high standard, we'd like to meet you.
