Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently while minimizing waste through effective stock control. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety. Experience Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that encourages repeat visits. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills. Previous food service experience including handling cash transactions and food safety practices. Knowledge of food handling procedures, basic math skills for accurate measurements and billing, and experience in bar management or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
