Engage with guests to recommend beverages, answer questions about drink ingredients, and suggest food pairings to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies like spirits, craft beer, wine, and mixers. Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods such as banquets or catering events to ensure seamless service delivery. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during peak hours. Uphold high standards of hospitality industry practices by providing friendly, prompt service that exceeds guest expectations. Experience Proven experience as a bartender or server in a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub environment is essential. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer is highly desirable. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is required for smooth transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Food service experience in fine dining settings or banquet environments will be advantageous. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures is necessary to maintain health standards. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or large parties. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math proficiency are important for accurate transactions. Experience in hospitality industry roles that involve beverage development or cocktail crafting will set you apart.
