Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their dining experience and promote beverage sales. Manage bar operations efficiently during dinner service, including processing cash and POS transactions accurately using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wines, beers, and bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy dinner hours. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and bar duties simultaneously while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Previous experience in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality environments preferred. Ability to develop new beverage recipes and stay current on industry trends in cocktails and beverages. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
