We combine a serious craft cocktail program with great food, house-made spirits, vinyl DJs, and a lively, hospitality-driven atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced craft bartender to join our team for approximately 3 evening shifts per week . This is not an entry-level bartending position. Applicants must have at least 2 years of recent bartending experience in a craft cocktail bar, chef-driven restaurant, upscale bar, or comparable cocktail-focused environment. Our operating days are Wednesday through Sunday , and all bartender shifts are evenings. Weekend availability is preferred, especially Fridays .

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a bartender who already has a strong cocktail foundation and can step behind the bar and contribute quickly.

You should be comfortable with:

Classic cocktail builds, proper technique, balance, and presentation Executing detailed signature cocktails accurately and consistently Working with fresh ingredients, house-made components, syrups, infusions, and garnishes Strong working knowledge of whiskey and other major spirit categories Proper bar setup, prep, breakdown, cleaning, and organization Maintaining consistency during a busy service Providing polished but approachable hospitality Talking intelligently with guests about cocktails and spirits Making recommendations and creating regulars Working independently while also functioning as part of a small team Private events and high-volume cocktail service

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of craft cocktail bartending experience required Experience must be in a cocktail-focused bar, upscale independent restaurant/bar, chef-driven restaurant, hotel cocktail program, or similar environment General bartending experience without significant craft cocktail experience will not meet the requirements for this position Strong spirits knowledge required; whiskey knowledge is a plus California RBS certification required Food Handler Card required

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 3 evening shifts per week. Shifts available Wednesday-Sunday All shifts are evenings Weekend availability preferred Friday availability is especially important Please include your current Wednesday-Sunday evening availability when applying.

ABOUT STONE GROOVE

Stone Groove isn't a traditional restaurant bar. We're building an American Hi-Fi bar experience centered around cocktails, food, vinyl, whiskey, and music culture. Our music programming includes vinyl DJs and curated listening throughout the week, with an energetic Friday and Saturday night atmosphere. We're also a working distillery producing our own Musically Mastered™ spirits , including bourbon, rye, and American single malt whiskey.
