West Hollywood, CA Job Details Seasonal $20.22 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer inquiry handling Full Job Description We're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bartender to join our service team at Petit Ermitage , hotel known for its warmth, charm, and elevated guest experience. The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience through the preparation and service of beverages with precision, consistency, and a warm, engaging presence. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender upholds all service standards, ensures compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines, and contributes to the overall success of the bar and restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests, answer questions, and quickly respond to all requests in a well-spoken, thoughtful, friendly and helpful manner; thank guests for staying with us at every opportunity. Provide a positive first impression for each and every guest to the Hotel. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Provide attentive, personalized service while engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner. Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktail menus, wine selections, spirits, and seasonal offerings. Ensure bar setup is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the POS system Handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks responsibly and efficiently Monitor guest consumption and adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with service team members to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in compliance with health regulations. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing side work duties. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Minimum one year experience as bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure. Knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits preferred. Positive attitude and willingness to assist others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods up to entirety of shift. Must regularly lift, carry, push, and, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol. California RBS Certification required.
