Your ability to manage multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude will help foster a lively, upscale atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, mixology talents, and exceptional customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales recording Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are strictly followed in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including glassware, utensils, and workstations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery for guests Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to assist with seating arrangements when needed Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine service is preferred Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales swiftly Basic math skills for managing bills, tips, and change confidently Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences!
