We're looking for an experienced, high-energy bartender who knows how to deliver great drinks and even better hospitality in a busy restaurant and live-music environment. The right person can move quickly without sacrificing quality, connect naturally with guests, stay organized under pressure, and work as part of a team when the bar gets busy. What You'll Do Prepare beer, wine, classic cocktails, and Shindigs specialty drinks accurately and consistently Deliver friendly, attentive service while maintaining speed during high-volume shifts Take guest orders, operate the POS system, process payments, and maintain accurate tabs Maintain proper drink recipes, pours, presentation, and portion standards Check identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements Recognize signs of intoxication and handle alcohol-service situations professionally and responsibly Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready bar throughout the shift Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed Prepare the bar for service and complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and side-work responsibilities Communicate with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and managers to keep service running smoothly Support teammates and jump in wherever needed during busy nights, live music, and special events Help create the welcoming, energetic, and professional atmosphere Shindigs is known for What We're Looking For 2+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or high-volume bar preferred Strong working knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine Ability to make common classic cocktails confidently and consistently Strong sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and guest service Excellent communication and multitasking skills Comfortable handling multiple guests, service tickets, and priorities at the same time Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine sense of hospitality Dependable, punctual, team-oriented, and calm under pressure Willingness to complete opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and other responsibilities — not just work the bar top Must be at least 21 years old Must obtain and maintain valid California ABC Responsible Beverage Service certification within the required timeframe. Must obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler Certificate. Friday and Saturday evening availability is strongly preferred Why Work at Shindigs?
