Job Description

Overview:
Job Summary:
The Barback supports bartenders by maintaining the bar's cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring a seamless customer service experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Stocking & Inventory:
Regularly restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and other supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Bar Maintenance:
Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and emptying trash.
Glassware & Dishwashing:
Collect and wash glassware, ensuring clean and available glasses for bartenders at all times.
Customer Service:
Assist with delivering drinks to tables, providing water to customers, and addressing any customer needs as directed by bartenders.
Equipment Management:
Ensure all bar equipment is clean and in good working order; report any issues to the Bar Manager.
Team Support:
Work closely with bartenders and other staff to provide smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
Opening/Closing Duties:
Assist with setting up the bar before opening and closing duties at the end of the night, including cleaning and organizing the bar area.
Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
