In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and beverage recipe development will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials or new menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management proactively. Develop innovative beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends in mixology and the hospitality industry. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and preventing over-serving. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments with a strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food handling and food safety practices within the food service or hospitality industry. RBS certificate and Food Handlers certificate are a must. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while providing professional service. Knowledge of beverage recipe development and mixology techniques to create appealing drinks that delight customers. Previous bar management or leadership experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
