Barback and Bartender

Responsibilities Support bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure efficient service during busy hours. Prepare and serve beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and transaction processing. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces to uphold health and safety standards. Buss tables and clear empty dishes or glasses promptly to keep the bar and dining area tidy and inviting. Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple bar snacks in coordination with kitchen staff. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and responding promptly to their needs in a lively nightclub or banquet environment. Support catering events or hotel functions by helping set up stations, serving guests, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the event. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests in a fast-paced setting. Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Experience with food handling, bussing, serving, or barista work is advantageous; hotel or food industry background is beneficial. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic kitchen experience helps support bar operations efficiently. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during shifts.
