Sherwood Country Club - 3.7 Thousand Oaks, CA Job Details Part-time $19.25 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Serving clients High school diploma or GED Driver's License Golf cart assistance Full Job Description The role of the Outside Services Golf Assistant is to assist members and guests with golf facilities and equipment to ensure a high level quality golf experience is experienced. This position requires candidates with excellent customer service experience while working outside on the golf course exerting a lot of physical activity.
EXPECTATIONS
To provide outstanding service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff. Know and embrace the mission statement and service requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
include the following (other duties may be assigned) : Greet members and guests at bag drop area Be available to assist members and guests at all times Ensure bag room and cart areas remain clean at all times Clean and prepare golf carts for use (i.e. stock towels, tees, pencils, scorecards, etc.) Report any cart problems to mechanics in a timely manner Ensure driving range is neatly set-up and stocked with range balls Maintain driving range and equipment Complete tasks in every phase of outside operations contributing to the success of the Golf Program EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school education. Golf course related experience or training preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk and stand for lengthy periods of time and walk. The employee is regularly required to lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.
EQUIPMENT USED
Golf carts, range pickers, ball washer.
DRIVING REQUIREMENT
Must have a valid driver's license to operate golf carts.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
: Use excellent customer service skills, establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of Sherwood Country Club. Relieves other personnel at the golf course when necessary, other duties as assigned, including tasks which support the essential functions and may be changed or redesigned.
