Fine Dining Bartender

Job Overview Kenichi prides itself for having a very experienced and knowledgeable Bar staff. We strive to strike a great balance of entertaining guests by letting our personalities shine, while giving a great experience with in depth menu knowledge and attention to detail. The restaurant is lively and fast paced. We are rarely slow. We are locally owned and not a corporate chain. Our Staff does not turn over very often. Our ideal candidate is passionate about great hospitality, eager to learn about Japanese cuisine, has an eye for detail, speed making cocktails and is interested in working at a great restaurant in Aspen long term. Experience Previous experience in a fine dining environment is required. Experience making cocktails is required. Japanese or Sushi experience is favorable but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Physical Requirements Standing/Walking:

Frequently stands for long periods (up to 8 hours) on hard surfaces.

Lifting/Carrying:

Frequently lifts and carries up to 40lbs, occasionally up to 50lbs.

Environment:

Works in a fast-paced environment in close proximity to other staff. Day to Day tasks Set up the bar, make syrups, juices, cut fruit and prepare cocktail ingredients. Maintain a clean and organized bar Give friendly and attentive service to guests Take To Go orders over the phone Work the service well making cocktails with speed and consistency Work well with others, our staff get along well, but expect every one to take their job seriously Hours 3:00pm-lock up usually before midnight.
