Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender to join our Tavern Team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, creating memorable moments for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. This position starts at an hourly rate of $12.50 plus tips. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience Manage bar operations efficiently using Toast POS to process transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences Handle cash transactions, process payments Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs for ordering to ensure smooth service flow Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or events to coordinate seamless service delivery Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and managing guest consumption responsibly Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and craft beer trends Proficiency with Toast POS for efficient transaction processing Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred Ability to develop creative beverage recipes that appeal to diverse tastes Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage with guests confidently Previous bartending experience is required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry supplies and beverage cases as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Ability to bend, reach, and perform routine cleaning and stocking duties.
