Manage cash transactions and process payments using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS with precision and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development. Proven experience in food service environments with a focus on fine dining or upscale hospitality settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours without compromising quality. Exceptional customer service abilities to create welcoming interactions that encourage repeat visits. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
