CANOPY - FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED BARTENDER / BAR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Davenport, Florida | Full-Time | Evening / Night Shift About the Position Canopy - Cocktails & Rituals is looking for a highly experienced, responsible, and professional full-time bartender who can independently take care of our entire bar operation. We are looking for someone with strong professional bartending experience who is confident working independently and taking full responsibility for the bar during operating hours. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, proper drink preparation, presentation, customer service, cleanliness, organization, and bar operations. Because Canopy also serves appetizers, this person will also help oversee and coordinate appetizer service along with drink service to make sure everything runs smoothly for our guests. What We Are Looking For Strong professional bartending experience. Previous experience working in a quality bar, lounge, restaurant, or hotel. Ability to independently manage and operate the bar during the shift. Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, proper pours, glassware, garnishes, and presentation. Creative ability to make exceptional signature cocktails and develop new drink ideas. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional, friendly, responsible, and reliable. Ability to handle busy service while staying organized and maintaining excellent quality. Strong attention to cleanliness, inventory, restocking, organization, and product consistency. Ability to coordinate drink service with our appetizer service. Ability to train future bartenders or staff if additional employees are hired. Responsibilities Take responsibility for the full bar operation during service. Prepare high-quality classic and signature cocktails. Create beautiful, creative, and memorable drinks for Canopy. Maintain excellent customer service and guest experience. Coordinate drinks and appetizer orders so service runs smoothly. Keep the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service. Monitor supplies, restocking, inventory, and unnecessary waste. Maintain proper measurements, recipes, garnishes, and presentation. Complete opening and closing responsibilities. Communicate directly with ownership regarding inventory, supplies, customer feedback, or operational needs. Help create new seasonal and signature drinks for Canopy.
