Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional service experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest menu enhancements to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards related to food handling and alcohol service. Handle cash handling duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations. Assist in training new team members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer brewing processes. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in beverage recipe development and presentation skills. Previous food service experience including serving, catering, or banquet work is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Experience working with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and food safety regulations is essential.
