Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options. Operate the POS system efficiently, including processing payments and handling cash register transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders at the bar. Monitor customer behavior to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations and promote responsible drinking. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and drink preparation techniques. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink costs. Experience with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS or similar platforms. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in a restaurant or nightclub setting. Knowledge of the food industry and food service best practices. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
