Bartender

Kava Garden is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team part-time for a seasonal position which may lead to an opportunity for a full-time position. We are a service-focused non-alcoholic botanical bar in South Beach offering handcrafted beverages made with kava, kratom, teas, and other botanicals. Our atmosphere blends hospitality, community, music, wellness, and nightlife into a unique social experience. We are looking for hospitality professionals who are charismatic, fast-paced, highly organized, and genuinely enjoy creating a welcoming environment for others. If selected for an interview, applicants will participate in a working audition to evaluate current bartending and hospitality skills. Prior kava bar experience is not required, but strong bartending experience is required. Kava Garden is growing rapidly, and we are actively looking to develop future leaders and managers from within our team.

Compensation:

$12/hour + tips ($25+/hour average earnings)

Responsibilities:

Create a warm, welcoming, high-vibe environment for guests Suggest, educate, and prepare kava and kratom beverages Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the bar, lounge, patio, and restroom areas Restock bar inventory and supplies throughout shifts Deliver prompt, professional, and attentive customer service Help maintain the atmosphere, energy, and overall guest experience of Kava Garden Follow all food and beverage safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

Bartending experience required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking ability Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and charisma Organized, dependable, and punctual Ability to maintain cleanliness and workflow during busy shifts Team-oriented mindset with strong personal accountability Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

Pay:

$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
