Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair Engage with guests to recommend drinks based on preferences and promote specialty cocktails or new menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through proper beverage recipe development Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events or banquet functions Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and adhering to legal regulations Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during high-volume periods Proven customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres in fine dining Food handling certification and understanding of food safety standards in the hospitality industry Ability to develop innovative beverage recipes that enhance menu offerings and attract repeat customers Excellent math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and inventory management Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering events, or banquet halls is highly desirable Knowledge of beverage trends including craft beer experience and spirits expertise enhances guest engagement Join us in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences where your passion for beverages meets your talent for creating lively social environments!
