Job Description
Upscale/fine dining restaurant and craft bar seeking experienced craft cocktailers. We are seeking a talented individual who takes their love of craft cocktails seriously, and wants to work in a high volume environment. We encourage our bartenders to explore new possibilities when creating drinks, and explore flavors to match our elevated food menu. Candidates for this position should have a solid background in the hospitality field, with a minimum of 3 years behind the bar, and at least 2 years working with craft cocktails. We utilize fresh herbs, spices, homemade syrups, and fresh juices to create delightful beverages for our guests daily. We also feature a strong wine list, and expect our bartenders to have strong wine knowledge, and be able to suggest and sell perfect pairings to our guests. Serious candidates only. This position is an opportunity for the person who likes to lead from the front, not fall in behind.
Expectations:
Help create seasonal beverage menus Prepare, mix and put together craft cocktail syrups from scratch Responsible for taking both food and beverage orders and help in serving both items Participate in private events/buyouts/holiday events/plated dinners Full benefits for full time employees Candidates should have the following prerequisites: 2-3 years Craft Cocktail Experience Experience creating and crafting specialty syrups, shrubs, bitters Extensive cocktail knowledge, recipes, history, and pairings Wine experience, food pairing, regional knowledge Flexible Availability Outgoing personalityTeam Player Job Types:
