Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your energy and culinary skills will help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook food items with precision, ensuring consistency, presentation, and flavor standards are met Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with meal preparation for catering events or large orders as needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service flow Follow all safety protocols in handling food, equipment, and cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience, is highly preferred Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards in production, and proper sanitation practices Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with culinary techniques, menu planning, and food industry best practices Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is essential A background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about food preparation, eager to grow your culinary skills, and ready to contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence!
