Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash handling with precision. Develop new beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails to enhance the bar's menu offerings. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while minimizing waste through effective stock control. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including nightclubs and banquet events. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption for safety purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours without sacrificing quality. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food service industry. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and cash handling.
