Full Job Description Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Greets guests promptly and courteously as they approach the bar.
• Engage with guests, take their orders, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction by delivering prompt and attentive service.
• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Creates specialty cocktails and develops new drink recipes to enhance the bar menu.
• Ensures proper portion control and consistency in drink preparation.
• Monitors bar inventory levels and communicate any shortages or ordering needs to the manager.
• Restocks bar supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
• Conducts regular inventory checks to minimize waste and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar area, including counters, sinks, shelves, and equipment.
• Washes and sanitizes glassware, utensils, and bar tools regularly.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
• Balances the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Handles cash and financial transactions with honesty and integrity.
• Verifies guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and comply with all local and state alcohol regulations.
• Refuses service to intoxicated guests and handles any potentially disruptive behavior calmly and professionally.
• Reports any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager immediately.
• Works closely with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assists in training new bartenders and barbacks as needed.

• Implements and maintains standard operating procedures to ensure high levels of service quality and operational efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology, and drink-pairing techniques.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
