Full Job Description Job Summary:
Maintaining the Dining Ambiance with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude. Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders; ensuring correct and prompt delivery of orders; clearing tables. Recording all purchases through the POS System or on chits. Working closely with and coordinating with other team members to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction. Responsible for providing excellent customer service while serving food and beverages to members and guests on the course. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Sets up and breaks down dining areas for appropriate mealtimes. 2. Sets up side stations, restocks and performs assigned side work. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily specials and beverages, is required. 4. Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival and seating; familiarize oneself with Member names. 5. Distribute menus, answer questions and make menu suggestions. 6. Take members/guests food and beverage orders. Deliver orders. 7. Ring orders through the POS System; communicate any special requests and dietary needs to the Chef. 8. Ability to carry large food trays and small cocktail trays for beverages. 9. Maintaining food and beverage service standards; serving food from the left side with the left hand. 10. Check back with members/guests to ensure satisfaction. 11. Clear dishes and reset tables. 12. Keep tables, dining room and service stations clean and tidy. 13. Drives and operates the beverage cart around the golf course, offering a selection of cold and hot beverages, snacks, and other items to members and guests. 14. Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 15. Accurately charges member accounts for items served. 16. Assists with bartending and food service as needed. 17. Greets members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude, taking and fulfilling orders promptly, accurately, and courteously. 18. Always displays the highest standards of service, greeting and welcoming members in a polite, gracious, and enthusiastic manner. 19. Adheres to golf course rules and etiquette while driving the beverage cart on the course, ensuring that golfers' play is not disrupted. 20. Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, and food handling, codes and standards. 21. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the beverage cart, including restocking products, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste. 22. Completes closing duties at the end of each shift, including member & guest charges, inventory management, and cleaning procedures. 23. Adheres to all Club policies and safety protocols. 24. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, members, and guests. Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to: 1. At least three (3) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. 2. Knowledge of wine, liquor and cocktails preferred. 3. Moderate lifting required; Ability to stand/ambulate for long periods. 4. Computer skills and POS knowledge. 5. Clear communication skills. Be able to communicate and understand our members' predominant language (English). 6. Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure. 7. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. 8. Attention to detail and organizational skills. 9. Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions without close, daily direction. 10. Ability to communicate courteously and professionally. 11. Must be able to work holidays, evenings, weekends and be flexible with changes as requested. 12. Must be an energetic team player. 13. Have a positive and upbeat personality. 14. Applicant must complete pre-employment drug screening, as well as a pre-employment background check at employer's expense.
