Coffee bar by day, cocktail & beer bar by night. Born out of a family-owned restaurant group in Charleston, The Larrikin is an Australian-influenced cafe focused on serving simple, approachable food, classic drinks, and a dynamic coffee program. From Frozen Banana Cortados and Maple Tahini Lattes on draft to multiple styles and variations of weird and funky cold brews ( that I had a lot of before typing this ), we want to serve the familiar and the fun. What matters most to us, though, is the people. We want to work with happy, positive teammates who make the day better. You can be professional without losing your personality. Life's tough enough; work shouldn't make it harder. We're here to do a good job, serve great food and coffee, and have a good time while we do it. Pay / Compensation

As a new concept, we haven't quite gotten a feel for what people are properly earning yet, but reasonable expectations are around $22

Base pay is currently $7.50 + tips from the tip pool. We're closely monitoring how pay shapes up to see what we can improve and make earnings consistent and fair as we navigate the various "opening a new concept" hurdles. Health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees. Plenty of growth opportunities across our restaurant group. The cafe is open from 7am to 9pm. This shift starts at 6:30am and runs until around 11:00am. Requirements While this is a bartender job, it will have strong coffee aspect as well. Coffee experience isn't required, but it helps. If you don't have experience, we'll teach you... but you better be a dork who studies things. Actually, be that even if you have experience.
