Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions swiftly and accurately Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed and tracking beverage usage to minimize waste Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption for safety Experience Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within the hospitality industry Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures are essential Join us if you're passionate about creating exceptional drink experiences and thrive in a lively hospitality environment.
