Job Summary Irish Rose Saloon is seeking a creative, friendly, and dependable Mixologist to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages, provide professional service to guests, maintain a clean and organized bar, and support smooth daily saloon operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong beverage knowledge who enjoys creating quality drinks, interacting with guests, and working efficiently in a lively, fast-paced bar environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional bar service Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages Follow established recipes and beverage preparation standards Create and present cocktails with attention to flavor, appearance, and consistency Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments accurately Maintain knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, beer, wine, cocktails, and menu offerings Answer guest questions and provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other cocktail ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar Restock spirits, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and bar supplies Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Clean and sanitize bar tools, glassware, equipment, counters, and work areas Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and applicable regulations Verify identification when required by applicable laws and company procedures Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner Assist with opening, closing, and daily bar duties Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy periods Perform other duties assigned by bar or saloon management Requirements Previous mixologist, bartender, bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage service Ability to prepare drinks accurately and consistently Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bar environment Basic POS and cash-handling experience Strong attention to detail and order accuracy Knowledge of responsible alcohol-service practices Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine bar duties Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills Professional mixology or bartending experience Cocktail creation and presentation skills Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails Strong understanding of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and cocktail ingredients Experience with cocktail garnishes and preparation techniques Excellent guest-service skills Ability to multitask during busy service periods Inventory and bar-stock management experience Strong organization and time-management skills Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team Benefits Benefits may vary based on position, location, employment status, and eligibility.
