Job Description
Join our team at Paradise Ciders, Hawaii's first & only cider company! Our Taproom & Bar is located in beautiful Mililani town and we are striving to be the go-to neighborhood bar with genuine hospitality, a locally-focused cocktail & draft program, paired with ono grinds from our on-site food truck. We are seeking a motivated and experienced bartender for our casual & fun working environment. Part-time position available. Applicants must exemplify the aloha spirit, have excellent guest service, be a team player that is able to work and communicate well with others, and follow directions. Food knowledge not required — we have an on-site food truck that operates separately from our bar. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Ability to change/move kegs Maintain bar inventory and supplies Maintain a clean and organized bar area Anticipate guest needs and preferences, make recommendations & provide an exceptional guest experience Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Take orders and prepare/serve drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) for bar guests and restaurant Ability to multi-task, work large sections/parties if necessary Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption & uphold liquor laws Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register Use Toast POS to ring in orders & process credit card payments Monitor guest behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disturbances Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
