Job Description

Banquet Bartenders oversee bar operations and prepare and present alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, upbeat, and professional to join our Banquet team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect inventory for the event while keeping a detailed inventory. Collect and count bank from the Cashier's Office and adequately account for gratuities received. Prepare the bar for operation and stock enough beverages to meet the needs of the shift. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe bar and lounge area. Prepare and serve drinks to guests and arrange bottles and glassware to make an attractive display. Learn and perfect the creation of the Sun Valley specialty cocktails. Ring through beverage sales onto the tab or pay-by-the-drink and make proper changes when needed. Discontinue service when deemed appropriate. Attend any training appropriate to maintain knowledge of regulations and techniques concerning consuming and serving alcoholic beverages. Wash used glasses and other items during and after the shift or deliver them to the kitchen/dishwashing area.
Qualifications:
Possess a friendly, cheerful, proactive, and helpful attitude. Ability to follow directions and pay attention to detail. Minimum two years experience in the Food and Beverage industry Must be 19 years of age or older. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods. While performing the duties of this job's responsibilities, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Must safely move objects up to approximately 75 pounds about the workplace.
