Sun Valley Resort is seeking experienced Bartenders to oversee all bar operations and provide guests with a warm and friendly experience. Bartenders are responsible for receiving and preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink orders, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests receive prompt and attentive service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Open and close the bar, collect and count the bank from the Cashier's Office, prepare the bar for operation, and stock enough various beverages to meet the needs of the shift Fill ice containers if no ice machine is present, and maintain a clean, neat, safe bar and lounge area Prepare and serve drinks to guests Learn and perfect the creation of the Sun Valley specialty cocktails Ring beverage sales onto tab or pay-by-the-drink and make proper changes when needed Discontinue service when deemed appropriate Attend any training appropriate to maintain knowledge of regulations and techniques concerning consuming and serving alcoholic beverages Properly account for gratuities received Wash used glasses and other items during shift and after or deliver them to the kitchen/dish-washing area Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry At least 21 years old Ability to stand for prolonged periods is required Attention to detail Possess a friendly, cheerful, proactive, and helpful attitude Ability to follow directions Engage in physical activities like walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
