The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant and/or banquet environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks) Create classic cocktails and support specialty drink development Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area Handle POS transactions, cash, and credit card payments accurately Monitor inventory and assist with restocking bar supplies Follow all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service Support banquet and event service when required Requirements Previous bartending experience preferred (restaurant, bar, or banquet setting) Strong knowledge of drink preparation and mixology basics Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 21 years old Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight Preferred Qualifications Experience with POS systems (Toast) High-volume restaurant or fine dining experience is a plus Illinois BASSET certification (or willingness to obtain) ⭐ Experience working with or incorporating Indian flavors, spices, or fusion cocktails is a strong plus (e.g., cardamom, saffron, mango, masala-inspired drinks) Experience opening or launching a new restaurant is a plus Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience + tips Opportunity to grow with a new restaurant concept
