Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Barback will assist with maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at the bar while providing exceptional service to guests. Responsibilities Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed. Help with bussing tables in the bar area to ensure a tidy environment for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, such as Aloha POS. Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as required. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems is a plus. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
