Job Summary Spice Club is seeking an experienced, friendly, and dependable Bartender/Server to join our hospitality team. This position combines bartending responsibilities with full table service in an assigned section. The Bartender/Server will prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages while also greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, serving meals, processing payments, and ensuring each table receives attentive service. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing both the bar and a dining section in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently. Greet guests and provide attentive service to tables within an assigned section. Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the Square POS system. Serve meals and beverages promptly while checking on guests throughout their dining experience. Answer questions about menu items, cocktails, ingredients, and spice levels. Make recommendations and professionally upsell appetizers, entrées, beverages, and desserts. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements. Process cash and credit-card payments accurately. Set up, stock, clean, and organize the bar before, during, and after each shift. Maintain adequate supplies of liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, mixers, and bar ingredients. Keep tables, the bar area, and service stations clean and organized. Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, food runners, and management to ensure accurate and timely service. Assist with takeout orders, private events, catering, and other restaurant duties when needed. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service policies. At the end of your shift, clean and put up all bottles and clean your section. Sweep and Mop. Qualifications Previous bartending and restaurant serving experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of common cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine. Ability to manage bar guests and multiple tables at the same time. Strong communication, multitasking, and customer-service skills. Comfortable using a restaurant POS system; Square experience is preferred. Ability to remain professional and organized during busy shifts. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol in Indiana. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
