Bartender - Part-Time Holiday Inn Louisville Airport South - 3.7 Louisville, KY Job Details Part-time $14.50 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Customer inquiry handling High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a professional and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong multitasking skills, and have experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. Candidates with a background in food safety, retail math, simple food preparation and delivery, and POS systems such as Micros POS will thrive in this position. A commitment to hospitality excellence and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently are essential for success.
Compensation:
$14.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using Micros POS Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience Prepare and cook simple food items using MerryChef technology Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change distribution Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels Ensure responsible alcohol service by adhering to legal drinking age laws and alcohol service policies Collaborate with kitchen staff for food pairing recommendations, especially during banquet or catering events Handle customer inquiries promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties when required Perform inventory tracking and run reports
Qualifications:
Outstanding time management and organizational skills Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers About Company We're a hospitality company where trust is the foundation, tradition guides how we serve, and team is everything.
