- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Restock bar inventory and ensure that all supplies are readily available
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Basic math skills to accurately calculate bills and handle cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Ability to upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Proficiency in handling food and beverages safely, including knowledge of proper storage and handling procedures
- Experience in cash handling, including making change, processing credit card payments, and balancing cash registers
- Previous experience in the food service industry, restaurant, or retail environment is beneficial Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
