Job Description
Job Overview Please understand this job is for an experienced bartender. If you do not have bartending references on your resume you will not be considered for this job. This position requires someone that has experience managing their bar customers, service bar, serving drinks and running food all simultaneously. We are looking to hire a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender/Server to join our team.. Whether you're mixing cocktails, taking orders, or ensuring every guest feels welcomed enthusiasm and professionalism are essential ingredients to success in this role. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system and process transactions efficiently while handling cash or card payments with proper cashiering procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Serving guests promptly, and ensuring smooth operations throughout service nightly. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables and/or bar patrons without sacrificing quality or attentiveness. Upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math is highly desirable; fine dining experience or nightclub background is required. Familiarity with POS systems to process orders accurately. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently while maintaining accuracy in basic math calculations like retail math or restaurant math. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding the importance of this for the wellbeing of both the business and it's customers.
