Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender to join our family style team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. We will be open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week Day shifts are 9am-4pm You must be flexible and be able to work some Sundays and Holidays. Must be Tips Certified and have Prior Bar Tending Experience. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bar, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Assist with hosting duties when necessary, including seating guests Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in roles such as serving or hosting in fine dining establishments or nightclubs. Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively about menu items. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Previous experience with POS systems (Toast) is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
