Mid-November, 2026 Epilogue is a new fiction bookstore and wine bar opening in early December 2026, designed to be Natick's newest "third place," a welcoming spot for people to socialize, linger, and foster community. We are looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to join our opening team. As our Lead Bartender, you'll own the bar program day-to-day. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve wine, beer, and cordial cocktails directly to guests, offering genuine and well-informed recommendations. Own beverage inventory, tracking par levels, placing orders with distributors, and managing vendor relationships. Maintain bar equipment and coordinate repairs as needed. Train and mentor other staff on bar service and wine knowledge. Operate the POS system for bar transactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar What We're Looking For Significant bartending experience, with strong working knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Comfort running a wine, beer, and cordial bar independently, without direct supervision most shifts. Experience with beverage ordering or inventory systems. TIPS certification required. Must be 18 years of age or older, per Massachusetts alcohol service requirements. Compensation $17.00-$23.00/ hour base pay based on experience. Tip pool participation. 30% discounts on all books, merchandise, and food menu items. Fully sponsored WSET Level 1 or Level 2 Certification for team members after one year of continuous employment.
